Year notes
The LCI F20 ran from 2015 to the end of production in 2019. There is one DRL configuration across this entire range, so the kit fits any LCI F20 LED headlight car regardless of build year.
Installation
Each kit ships with RGBW PCB boards sized to the LCI F20 housing, a linking wire to sync both sides, a Bluetooth controller paired to the LotusLamp X app, a wiring harness loom and thermal paste. Installation needs the headlights to come out, so this is not a plug-and-play job. Any auto-electrician will fit it in under an hour.
Common questions
- My F20 has angel eyes but no L-shape line. Which kit do I need? You almost certainly have the pre-LCI Xenon car, not the LCI LED car. The L-shape running line is the easiest pre-LCI vs LCI tell. If you only see round angel eyes, order the F20 Xenon kit.
- Does this fit the M140i? Yes, if your M140i is the LCI car (2017 onward) with the standard LED headlight option. Adaptive LED headlights are a different fitment which we do not currently supply for the F20.
- Will the kit affect my LED main beam? No. The kit only replaces the daytime running light and angel eye function. The main and dipped beam LEDs are untouched.
