The F40 has not had an LCI yet. Every F40 from 2020 to 2024 uses the same DRL housing, so this single kit covers the full run.
Installation
Each kit ships with RGBW PCB boards matched to the F40 housing, a linking wire to sync both sides, a Bluetooth controller paired to the LotusLamp X app, a wiring harness loom and thermal paste. The headlights need to come out for fitting, so this is not a plug-and-play job. F40 install videos are widely available, or hand the kit to any specialist.
Common questions
- Will this fit the M135i? Yes, the M135i shares the same standard LED headlight housing as the rest of the F40 range. Adaptive LED is a different fitment we do not currently supply for the F40.
- Is the F40 the same as the F20? No. The F40 is a different car on a different platform. It looks broadly similar but the headlights, bodywork and wiring are not interchangeable. The cleanest way to tell is build year: F40 is 2020 onward, F20 is 2019 and earlier. If yours is borderline, send us a photo of the front of the car and we will confirm.
