OLVADE LIMITED – Warranty & Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing Olvade. We stand behind the quality of our DRL kits and want to ensure you know exactly what’s covered, what’s not, and how to get support if needed.
1. YOUR RIGHT TO RETURN (CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and as reinforced by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a legal right to cancel and return your order for a full refund within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods for any reason.
To qualify:
- The item must be unused.
- It must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery – no return requests will be accepted after this period.
- You must cover the cost of return shipping unless the item is proven to be faulty.

2. WARRANTY PERIOD
All Olvade DRL kits come with a 12-month limited warranty from the delivery date. This covers manufacturing defects and faults not caused by user error, incorrect installation or modifications.
3. WHAT’S COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
We will repair or replace your product at no cost if it experiences the following within 12 months of delivery:
- Electrical failure of LED boards or Bluetooth controllers due to a manufacturing defect.
- haInternal LED malfunctioning or colour channel failure tt is not caused by external damage or water ingress.
All replacement parts are supplied free of charge if the claim is valid.
4. WHAT’S NOT COVERED
We do not cover the following:
- Damage to ribbon cables, flex cables, connectors or solder points caused during installation or mishandling.
- Any damage caused by improper installation, including reversed polarity, use of incorrect power sources, or short circuits.
- Water damage, unless explicitly confirmed to be due to product failure and not improper sealing during installation.
- Third-party installation errors (including by partner garages).
- Cosmetic wear and tear after installation.
- Vehicle-related damage, such as blown fuses, ECU faults, or harness issues caused by incorrect wiring or integration.
- Modifications or tampering with the DRL boards, including cutting wires, splicing, or using third-party controllers.
- Any product returned as faulty which is later found to be intentionally or negligently damaged by the customer may be:
- Subject to a deduction (original price – damage fee – shipping cost), or
- Refused for refund entirely, depending on the condition.
5. HOW TO CLAIM
To submit a warranty claim:
- Email returns@olvade.com with your full name, order number, and description of the issue.
- Include clear photos or videos showing the fault.
- We may ask for the item to be returned for inspection.
Note: If we find the issue is not covered under warranty, we will notify you with return options. We will not charge for inspections.
6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
- You are responsible for the correct and safe installation of our products.
- RGBW kits are not road legal in the UK and are sold strictly for off-road/show use only.
- Use of our products on public roads where not permitted is at your own risk.
- We are not liable for MOT failures, insurance voids, fines, or any associated costs from misuse or improper use of the product.
7. GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Sale of Goods Act 1979. It is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
